The Application Process

Step 1 Registering Your Interest

At this initial stage, students need to register their interest and confirm that the details presented are correct. You will also be able to declare details of a disability to us at this point if you wish to do so.

Once you have submitted a registration of interest, you will receive an email confirmation from our Accommodation team.

This email will include the next steps for your application.

* Remember to check your junk/spam folder in case the confirmation email has been moved there.

This is only an initial registration of interest at this point, until you receive an email invitation to Stage 2.

The campus halls are mixed, however, we do try to accommodate students as best we can. Generally, one floor is for female students, one for male students and the remaining floor is mixed. Please let us know in the form which accomodation you would prefer.

Step 2 Making Your Application

Once you have registered your interest (if eligible), you will receive an email to confirm it and the steps you need to take.

* Remember to check your junk/spam folder in case the confirmation e-mail has been moved there.

When applying for a room you will need to:

Review the terms and conditions of the accommodation contract – you can download the accommodation agreement in the menu on this page.

Pay the bond & First Instalment

All of our rooms are on a 48-week licence and all rooms have en-suite facilities. All rooms are charged at £6,400 per year.

It is essential that you are able to make payment for your accommodation for the full contractual period inc 48 weeks. Once the application has been accepted you will be legally obliged to pay for the room. There are no refunds for periods of absence from your accommodation such as illness, field trips, school placements or for early completion of academic commitments.

A room will be only be confirmed and a contract formed once a student has completed all three stages of the application process. You will receive an email from the Accommodation team which confirms the formation of the contract.

Step 3 Confirming Your Payment

At this stage, you need to tell us how you are going to pay your accommodation fees.

You will be provided with a number of options outlining how to pay your accommodation fee.

Details of each method will be explained when you are presented with your options. Depending on the method selected, you may need a valid debit or credit card.

Once you have completed Stage 3 you will receive an email from the ABHSC confirming that you have now formed a contract with ABHSC for a room at Booth Hall, this will be allocated prior to arrival.
