These roles provide cover 365 days per year so some shifts will fall on Bank Holiday Weekends and may include Christmas/New Year depending on the calendar year.


Part-Time Shift Pattern

31.5 hours per week over a rolling “4 on 4 off” shift pattern 1000hrs-1930hrs.



ABHSC is developing a hub for professional healthcare in the region in addition to partnering with education and training providers to meet with the changing requirements and challenges of healthcare in the UK and globally.



We have a new opportunity for a Residential Coordinator to be based at Booth Hall which is an 800 room accommodation facility for Nurses, Doctors, medical professionals and medical students.


The role will include training and supervising a small team of Residential Assistants to oversee the day to day running of the reception and the general facilities.


The succesful applicant will:

  • Support the Domestic Team Leader, deputising in their absence and supervising the domestic team along with inspection checks.
  • Assist the Accommodation Manager as required and deputise in their absence.
  • Ensure occupancy levels at Booth Hall are maximised at all times.
  • Liaise with the wellbeing team over the provision of residents pastoral and welfare care.


On occasion there may be the requirement to assist the Housekeeping team with duties in order to get the accommodation ‘turned around’ for new arrivals and other duties e.g. cleaning spillages on stairs, tidying communal areas, removal of rubbish etc.


Applicant essential requirements:

Experience of working in a customer focused environment, able to demonstrate an emphasis on providing a quality service and dealing with difficult situations over the phone and also face-to-face enquiries in a professional manner.
